Everyone deserves a photo of themselves that they love and want to share with the world!  Gone are the days of the pushy wedding photographer posing everyone in the church in an uncomfortable manner (well...hopefully).  Most couples today prefer what is called a photojournalistic approach, where the photographer blends in with the crowd, yet documents the day as it really happened.  The result is amazing because you'll reconnect to those moments through your pictures and say "I remember that happening now that I see the picture!" Many couples do prefer some posed shots following the ceremony in a church or second location, although they tend to love the candid shots!  I enjoy shooting this way because you get  flavor of both styles.

Portraits are another fun thing to do.  Typically, I like to schedule the shoot at a location you choose or a nearby park.  This way you are in an environment comfortable to you, green for me, and fun for us both.  These sessions are relaxed, I tell a few bad jokes to loosen you up and bring out that true smile.  For children it helps if you bring a fluffy toy or something they enjoy.  Lots of times you will be my "assistant" to help them smile and react...note, no previous photographic experience required (ha!).
